Unfortunately, it often happens that patients do not show up on appointments. Depending on the scheduled time of the appointment it is understandable that it is not possible to cancel the appointment in a timely manner. We also realize that there is always a possibility that you are unable to come to an appointment because of unforeseen events. However, we assume that you try your best to let us know as soon as possible. Even afterwards we would like to hear about this.
Patients who do not show up without cancelling the appointment in an adequate manner inconvenience other patients and the practice. Therefore we feel compelled to implement the following policy.
The first time you don’t show up for an appointment without cancelling it in an adequate manner you’ll get a warning.
The second time you do not show up for an appointment without cancelling it in an adequate manner you will receive an invoice.
The amount of the invoice is €30,-.
The invoice will not be covered by insurance, the invoice is for your own account.
