Information lung function test:
You will receive a lung function test from one of our physician assistants. You are not allowed to smoke 3 hours before the examination.
If you use inhaled medication that falls under anti-inflammatory drugs (corticosteroids), you must stop taking this medication 48 hours before the examination. These are, for example, Foster, Symbicort, etc.
If you only use a short-acting bronchodilator, such as Salbutamol, you must stop taking this medication 24 hours in advance.
Stopping the inhaled medication is important to get a good picture of your lung function.
If this is a problem, please contact the physician nurse with whom you have the research to discuss.
If you come for an annual check-up, you may be allowed to continue using the inhaled medication. If you have any doubts about this, please contact the physician nurse. Always take your inhaled medication with you to the lung function test.
POH GGZ
While the POH somatics supports patients with physical (chronic) disorders, the POH GGZ focuses on the treatment of people with (short-term) psychological complaints. The POH GGZ supports the general practitioner in providing accessible care to patients with psychological and/or psychosocial complaints.
The POH GGZ offers help to patients quickly, without a waiting list and in a familiar environment.
This help is close to home and usually short-term. Ruben holds consultation hours, under the supervision of the general practitioners.
